A proposed design and content structure for Radio 786. The existing website remains the source of published stories and approved contact routes.
Decisions for review
- Five core pages: Home, Programming, Advertise With Us, About and Contact. A dedicated listening experience supports the primary action.
- “Advertise With Us” follows the specific June brief. September notes also suggest “Sales”; the final navigation label needs confirmation.
- Homepage news remains. No standalone News page was created; story links still open the existing public site.
- 2024 supplied logo, cyan and grey brand palette, Open Sans and Open Sans Condensed typography. Historical 2018 logo is not used.
- Programming removes Radio Time / Your Time / Genres, podcasts and show categories. The compact guide reproduces the existing public schedule as a clearly labelled snapshot from the displayed 10–16 August 2026 source week. It is not a confirmed October schedule.
- About copy is a proposed rewrite based on the public station profile. 786 in Motion and a click-to-enlarge outreach gallery are included.
Client material still needed
- Approved advertising proposition, audience research, multimedia performance metrics, packages, prices and rate-card PDF.
- Updated programme/presenter list, presenter photographs and downloadable schedule PDF.
- Approved audio/video files for Five daily Salaahs, Wird Al Latief and Raatibul Hadaad.
- Approved About copy and additional outreach photographs.
- A verified Cape-calendar prayer-time source. No prayer times have been invented.
- CMS access and integration plan for live news, recipes, schedule and on-air metadata. Existing recipe tagging/display problems require a separate audit of the live CMS; this staging site has no CMS access.
- Approved AdSense account, homepage placement and Listen Live creative. This draft has no advertising scripts connected.
- Any Payflex purchase/donation route remains a proposal; no payment integration has been activated.
Integration boundaries
The listening page uses a public stream URL present in the official player and includes official player and TuneIn fallbacks. Playback depends on that service. The contact form validates locally and explicitly does not submit or store messages. No newsletter signup, payment, advertising account or live CMS feed is connected.
No changes were made to radio786.co.za, its domain, content or integrations.
